The Movie Astro Boy is the film adaptation of Osamu Tezuka’s classic manga, Astro Boy. The film story is set in futuristic Metro City, about a young robot with incredible powers created by a brilliant scientist called Dr. Tenma (Nicolas Cage), in the image of Tobio, the son he had lost. However, when the scientist finds out Astro Boy (Freddie Highmore) couldn’t mend his grieving heart and cannot replace a very Tobio he loved, he sent Astro Boy away. Then the journey in search of acceptance of our hero begins, where he experiences betrayal and gets into a netherworld of robot gladiators, before he finally returns to save Metro City and reconcile with the father who had rejected him.
