The long wait is over! The 2010 American Idol season 9 schedule is here to usher in another fantastic season of music, drama, intrigue and everything else that comes with this hit reality singing competition show. FOX has now announced its full American Idol 2010 schedule from the audition rounds through to the start of the Finals.
Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi together with the celebrity guest judges such as Victoria Beckham, Mary J. Blige, Kristin Chenoweth, Neil Patrick Harris, Joe Jonas, Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry and Shania Twain, will start the season with auditions from all over America. We will see talent and funny acts, laughter and drama, all in the way to choosing the next American Idol. As was previously announced, the 2010 American Idol 9 premiere will be composed of a two-night episode that will pave the way and set the tone for American Idol season 9. American Idol will premiere on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010 with a two-hour audition episode focusing on aspiring stars from Boston. Then on Jan. 13, 2010, Atlanta auditions will get an hour and 15 minutes show. We’ll get our first peek at new Idol judge Ellen DeGeneres during the Hollywood round, which will air starting on February 2010. American Idol season 9 will return to a Top 24 format after last season’s Top 36.
